Woman attacked
brutally inside ATM at JC road, near NR square, Bangalore.
Again it has been
done and I believe that no strict force will come in action any time soon. Though
this incident took place in Bangalore, soon this attack fashion will spread in
other states of our nation. It has happened in past and such incidents will
happen in future. Now some much enlightened mind from government may make silly
statements like ‘Citizens should be more careful’ Learn self defence’ and many
more.
Question is ‘What
all a common man or woman will do to keep themselves safe?’
I ask why a common
man should learn self defence and acts of attacking. If this is the case then
what is the meaning of selecting a government? Like many other countries around
the world, let us also take down our handicap government. Moreover, what do
they expect from us? We should earn our bread butter to feed kids or teach them
how to shoot in the middle of forehead. If our internal forces have become so
weak then why should we even have a government?
In the Bangalore
incident, a mid aged woman from a middle class family went inside an ATM to
some cash out. She has been identified as Jyothi Uday, manager, Corporation
Bank (same bank to which ATM belongs). She had come to ATM for withdrawing some
cash being in-charge of morning shift. The way in which the perpetrator gets
inside the ATM, closes down the shutter and reaches out for gun and machete
clearly showed that there is no existence of law and order. His face was so
calm and he did his work in professional way. There was no fear of police.
After last year
Delhi rape incident, girls were told not to go out late in nights or they will
get raped. But what about domestic violence that takes place inside four walls
and trigger the same violence outside the home. Also, at first place government
should make all arrangements not for just girls and women but for the safety of
all citizens and when it has failed to perform its duty, government should at
least try and not repeat the same mistake. Without making any second opinion, I
would like to blame such incidents completely on police force....that has
become a faded part of our weak administration. If you will watch ATM attack
video, you will find that the attacker came in and walked away easily. Whom should
he fear? Police? JOKE!!
I would like this
message to be conveyed till administration office that please stop testing our
patience. Don’t you forget that Aam Aadmi has been the backbone of every government.
You will try to break your own backbone and you will only fall. First fight for
our country’s freedom was initiated from a revolt against British rule in 1857.
Don’t make us repeat the same in the present time, now that we have thousand websites
telling us how to make bombs at home!
Apart from the
failure of state police to keep a check on such incidents, a little share of
this incident should be taken by bank. It is clearly visible in the video that
the ATM was not guarded.
(Personally, hats off to this lady, the bank
manager of didn’t give that bastard a single penny and performed her duty well.
If she would have given cash to this perpetrator that would have encouraged
other evil minds)
