I Dream

I am a dreamer...I have never stopped dreaming,

I have dreamed of flying as a kid.

I dream day and night, no one disturbs me,

I dream when I am awake and I dream when I sleep,

Years have gone by and years will come...but I will still dream.

And no one will disturb me.

I dream for a home....I dream for love,

I dream for brotherhood...I dream for compromise.

I dream of hugging my enemy...I dream of healing their wound

I dream of taking their pain away....I dream of seeing them content again.

I dream of a day when guns and poison should be replaced with Love and Care.

And while I continue to dream good about world,

My inner self gives me power and makes me strong enough to bring my own dreams alive.

Under no circumstances, shall I choose to fall weak...for that I am a dreamer.

I dream to be a human again...I dream to close my tired eyes in peace.
