A & N Diary- 1

The Writer and The Diary...Blue Blue!!

Apart from five most interesting and joyful people who were accompanying me on this unforgettable trip, it was also a pen and a pocket size diary that kept the writer alive!

8am, Thursday 28th November 2013-

Eyes are burning as bad as a volcano. The only reason is- early morning flight from Mumbai at 5.45am. This has caused a little blockage in mind to let words flow in. Just 5mins back, we have landed in Chennai. No, I won’t be roaming around in this southern city as of now. Right now, we are heading to the beautiful islands of Andaman and Nicobar (Port Blair). After munching some snacks and biscuits, we are back to our normal state. The last meal that I ate was at 10pm on 27th. While I am writing down in this newly purchased diary, my co-passengers (family and uncle-aunt) are busy in clicking pictures. I say admit it that we Indians live each and every moment as and when it comes. Total number of occupied seats from Mumbai to Chennai was less. But now from Chennai, people are flowing in at a good pace. As a see new people brought up and living in different culture from me, my eyes starts observing their movements and carry in luggage. Well I can make out that- maximum of people are frequent people but not that of executive class who travel for business purposes. These are common and middle class people. Second thing is a little weird; they are carrying vegetables in polythene bags. Raw vegetables! I am confused.  While some people find it difficult to find their respective seats, cabin crew is busy in making announcement, telling passengers to co-operate so that we can take off soon.
Way to Andaman!!

10.25am Same Day-

Now this extremely painful back pain is going to break all barriers. Damn! I want to jump out of this plane. Only now I can truly understand the feeling behind the emotion when people complain about jetlag. I miss those days when we used to travel by Rajdhani train. Some more minutes and I will be on that island which I can see from the window. Such beautiful piece of land shall replace pain with joy and excitement.

More to come....
