So finally I
have tasted the sore part of writing an article that may hurt some sentiments. I
can imagine Mr. Salman Rushdie’s pain. I had posted an article ‘Being fooled by
fools’ on 1st May. Within two days of posting this article, I
received four messages that contained most abusive words presented in a
disguising way of writing. (Yes I expect my critics to be aware of a decent
writing pattern)
While I
would not like to put down those messages here and mention those names, I can
surely present here the outer layer of these messages.
1. First
message says, Dude you need to respect a woman’s dignity.
Well I say, as
far as I can remember words from my article, nowhere did I even mention past or
present of Ms. Rai or Mrs. Singh, forget writing about future.
2. Second
mail goes like- Don’t you have anything else to do other than peeping into
other’s life?
I would say,
it was not me who played spy in bringing out their personal lives under the
limelight.
Second, I
would not have made any efforts to write if the person in the matter would have
been from the likes of Sunny Leone, Kamaal R khan, Poonam Pandey and Rakhi
Sawant. Only because Mr. Singh holds an important office in the centre, for
that I care to write.
Thirdly, Man
I am writer and this is what writers do!!
3. Third
message received- Digvijaya Singh is
a man with guts and has got balls to admit his love publicly. This mail was
concluded with a ‘#salute’
First of
all, I hate hastags. Seriously people,
we can easily convey message even without using #
Secondly, I
have nowhere denied the fact that Mr. Singh does not have balls.
4. Fourth
one was surely from a hardcore religious dude- Why do you need to drag
<religion name> into your article? My religion <religion name> is
not dirty.
Oh my dear
brother from another mother, I don’t hold so much of power as to play blame
game on religions.
Secondly, it
is us the humans who have become dirtier while the religions have stayed as
pure as mother’s milk.
Well now I
have put petrol into the conversation. #countertaken
