Love!

Oh my dear readers! A very healthy and wealthy Happy New Year to you all. After a long time, I am posting here in my blog. So, I want all my brothers and sisters out there to understand one thing as it is- If you like/love someone, follow the steps mentioned below. It has helped me to clear my conscience at an ease. I hope it works for you too-

1.      Spend your first few months may one or two on observing that person. Now when I say to observe don’t ‘judge’ or immediately criticize. Being a smoker, drinker makes no man a devil and wearing short skirts, walking with multiple male colleagues/friends makes no woman a slut. So kindly keep your inner cunning Chakanya in check.

2.      When You are sure that the person is the One (outer analyse), make an approach. Don’t ever start like an angry horse who is running only to win (in this case to get laid). Be calm and definitely at ease.

3.      Let the conversation happen on its own. Love is a meal that takes a good amount of time to cook. You can only garnish it with more care and affection.

4.      As the future conversations go on, try to understand other’s motive to be in that particular relationship. One may simply be in for a one-night couch cushion while some may be looking for a long-lasting bedsheet.

5.      Only after deciding if you want to continue or not, do the inner analysis of the person. By now, it should not be very hard for you to do the science or the maths.

6.      And then just propose her/him. Mostly girls have this poor habit of not leading in here and they prefer keeping their feelings to themselves. Oh dear! Don’t burden yourself with a heavy heart.

7.      If you get a Yes then understand it as your responsibility more than an opportunity.

8.      If a No then surely you have full right to get dishearten but don’t do two most stupid things- Don’t hurt yourself and don’t hurt the other person.

9.      If a No then the best you can do is to make that person realise what they are losing and wishing them all the best for all their future endeavours.

10.   And in the end it is you and only you who matters. Remember you had come alone and you will go off this world alone only with a handful of sweet/sour memories. Start focusing on yourself now.

Love!

I say Love is a beautiful yet a complicated four letters word
And funny enough, it does come with a long list of T & C,
While you may sign the disclaimer with a blindfolded mind,
Can you leave everything to destiny?

I say Love is a beautiful yet a rare gem,
To be found by a few,
To be polished and kept safe by a very few,
Can you leave everything to luck?

I say Love is beautiful yet a dreadful investment to make,
While you may be aware that the market is volatile
And your feelings are at all time high risks,
You still run behind the ever-fruitful profit
Can you leave everything to fluctuations?

I say Love is a beautiful yet a tricky game,
Sometimes only to be played and won by masters and the queens,
A whole new deck of cards is spread out on the table,
Only to picked, analysed and tricked,
Can you leave everything to movements of dice?

I say Love is the only beautiful and the most precious asset in the world,
Because the money lost in a game can be earned back,
A gem lost in a crowd can be gained back,
A bad investment made can be turned around,

But what about that love who is walking away from you?
You couldn’t make her understand your existence while she was around,
How on this ever-running world do you expect her to be yours,
When you know the half full equals to half empty.
Can you leave everything to time?
