Hi Blog!
So, I haven’t written anything solid since many months now
and no, I have no such desire to turn myself into a daily blog writing zombie.
A lot has happened last past months, yes, a lot. You see, it worked like a
curve.
To start with, my promotion result was declared on 1st
April 2021 and Yes I am an officer now! Yes, dreams do come to. We just gotta
work really hard and leave the rest. Take my advice if you care, there is
really no substitute for hard work. Now, the people who are already content
with life, good for them! But if you are a person who have always desired more
in life but procrastination continues to be your greatest foe, be ready to burn
your body and eyes in the hours of learning and working.
Then, in mid of April, my dear family members were tested
Covid 19 positive. By God’s grace, everyone is absolutely fine now. May God
give strength to the families who have lost the dear ones and peace to the departed
souls.
On 16th April, amid of this ongoing dreadful
Covid situation, I had to go and appear for promotion interview at Nariman
Point, Mumbai.
Final result was declared on 28th April 2021.
Right now, pre-joining medical examination process is going
on. Enjoy every bit of the journey, they say. Well, what other option do we
have! Looking forward to posting in coming month. Takes a heavy heart to leave
your present place of work, your comfort zone and your confidantes. But this is
what your stay on this earth is all about.
Done & dusted, you keep walking towards your next
assignment, only to find your solace in that particular work.
P.S- Last week I did binge watching for Pirates of the Caribbean (5 movies) and man-o-man what an actor Johnny Depp is. Reminded me of Heath Ledger’s Joker! Damn, Bollywood is dying it seems. Joker-Captain Jack Sparrow-Lord of the Rings-Harry Potter-Godfather-Fury-The Basketball Diaries-Inception-Avengers and the list is endless! And what do we have to offer? Recent disasters being- Radhe/Sardar ka Grandson/Hello Charlie/Sania??? Oh, come on Bollywood. Also, kindly stop glittering OTT platforms the way you have ruined Hindi Film Industry and start treating regional cinema with respect!

Aye Captain! |
The only movies we can offer for Oscars are the ones that
either show India as a poor state (which even Govt in recent seems to have
agreed with) or points out the bias existing in our society! Stereotype of
being “Snake Charmers” has not gone it seems.
Hahaha! See this is why I don’t write anymore. This habit of
drifting and jumping from one topic to another has glued to my hands.
Dasvidaniya! Adios! Ciao!
